Hi. I'm Jen. And nobody warned me about this part either.

Meet Jen Weinstein

A few years ago, my body started doing things nobody prepared me for. I was exhausted in a way that rest didn't fix. I was doing everything right — and feeling worse than I ever had.

What I eventually figured out — through a lot of research, a lot of frustration, and more than a few conversations with women who said "oh my god, me too" — is that midlife does something to you that nobody really talks about honestly.

Not your doctor. Not your mom. Not the wellness industry that's been trying to sell you things since your twenties.

So I started talking about it myself.

THE SHOW

Built by one woman. For a lot of women.

I'm the host of The Midlife Edit — a weekly podcast for women navigating the years where everything shifts. Your body. Your identity. Your priorities. And sometimes your patience.

I built this show entirely by myself. Every episode recorded, edited, produced, and released solo. The social media, the newsletter, the website, the guest research — all of it.

Not to impress you. But because if you're a midlife woman doing hard things without a team and wondering if it counts — it does. It absolutely counts.

BROOKLYN, MAY 2026

What happens when you say yes to your own life.

A few years ago, if you told me I'd be standing in a recording studio in Brooklyn with Tracy Bonham — not just interviewing her for my podcast, but actually recording with her on a new track — I would have laughed in your face.

But in May 2026, that became real. Eight women. Grand Street Recording. The 30th anniversary of Mother Mother. We screamed that chorus into a microphone with Tracy standing right next to us. And we will have credits on the album.

One of the unexpected gifts of starting The Midlife Edit has been realizing that when you build something honest, it connects you with people you never imagined you'd meet.

The next morning — Mother's Day — Tracy and I went to brunch. Just the two of us. And had one of the most genuine, creative, inspiring conversations I've had in years.

I almost didn't send the email that started all of this.

Send the email.

WHAT THIS SHOW STANDS FOR

The things Jen believes.

Midlife is not a crisis. It's an edit. The most interesting chapter you've had yet — if someone would just stop calling it a decline.

Music is a time machine. The women who made music in the 90s understood something about rage and reinvention that we're all just now catching up to.

Honesty is the whole point. No toxic positivity. No pretending it's easy. No content that makes you feel worse about where you are.

You're in the right place. If you feel unseen, unprepared, or under-informed about this chapter — this show was made for you specifically.
